Custom Construction
Bring us your ideas and inspirations or customize from our extensive fabric library! The Absecon Mills design team will assist you every step of the way. Through their long-standing textile knowledge of color, weave structures and fiber content characteristics, they are sure to deliver top quality fabric for the most demanding project!
IT ALL STARTS WITH YOU
From original artwork to your company logo, our design team works with a variety of inspiration sources. Does something from the Pattern Gallery catch your eye but it isn’t quite the right color or scale? Change it! When chatting with Absecon’s design team about your ideal fabric, together you will determine what colors and construction will work best for your project. Whether it be a plushy chenille or something more poolside-friendly, our extensive yarn library will be able to deliver a durable product. Our facility utilizes both dobby and jacquard looms to manufacture textiles with different levels of pattern intricacy.
After finalizing the concept, our team goes to work selecting yarn colors in order to bring your idea to life and following the specified dimensions for your custom fabric. The designers will send the woven sample(s) to be approved by you. Not quite right? We’ll tweak it! Nothing is ever sent into production without your stamp of approval.
YOUR VISION IN EXPERT HANDS
The final, approved design goes into production right here at the company headquarters, located in Cologne, New Jersey! Our designers have full access to the weave floor and will approve the fabric at start up. Thus, making sure any mishaps are handled promptly resulting in quick deliveries. Your design is carefully looked after by our highly skilled weavers attending to the looms at our fully integrated manufacturing facility. You can rest easy knowing that your fabric is treated like a work of art every step of the way!
THE HIGHEST QUALITY
We proudly weave and finish your fabric to your exact specifications or needs. Once woven, your custom fabric will be carefully inspected before it is sent out to get finished. After finishing, it once again undergoes a final quality check (or two or three) before it arrives at your door!
